WHAT TO EXPECT

Congratulations on your wedding! I’m so happy for you, and I’m grateful to be considered for your wedding!

You will spend most of your special day with me! (Probably more than anyone else in your wedding besides your spouse-to-be!) That means I will be more than your photographer and friend; I’ll be a day-of assistant of sorts! I’ll be ensuring to capture every important step of your wedding as we discussed the weeks leading up to your wedding, but also I will assist in making sure everything runs according to schedule and everything runs according to plan! I know when to be present and to direct, and I know when to step back and allow meaningful and intimate moments happen.

Before the day of your wedding, we will have discussed your wedding at length, what your desires are, and most importantly become friends in the process. This way, I can make it truly my duty to make your dream wedding a reality.
Step 1: DRINKS (or something like that)

Jokes aside, the biggest thing when it comes to choosing a wedding photographer—besides honesty and creativity—is the vibe. You’ll be spending most of your big day with me, and trust me, everything goes smoother if we’ve met beforehand! It’s not a dealbreaker if we don’t, but I’d genuinely love to meet you and your partner over drinks.
Seriously, let’s grab a drink! I’m not here to “sell” you—I just want to get to know you, whether you book me or not. I never say no to good conversation and meeting awesome people. I want to hear all about you two—your story, your interests, your dreams, and of course, your vision for the big day.

If you choose me as your photographer, I’ll take it from there! This ain’t my first rodeo—I know what I’m great at, and I’ll never promise something I can’t deliver. Weddings are my number one passion, strength, and source of personal joy (besides my own marriage, of course), so you can count on me to come through on your big day. I’ll work closely with your coordinator (if you’ve got one), the venue, and keep things running smoothly and on time!

Step 2: Book Me

If you haven’t already by the time we met for drinks, now all you have to do is book an appointment on my calendar! (There is a reason for this.) At this point, you will need to book an appointment on my website for the day your wedding! This way my calendar is blocked off for your special day, AND I have a wedding intake form built into my appointment scheduler, which goes over any details that we may have missed when we met in person!

Complimentary engagement sessions are included with all wedding bookings! After you book your appointment on my calendar for your wedding I will call you and we will figure out a separate date/time/location to photograph your free engagement portraits for those save-the-dates and invitations!

I have NO DEPOSITS, NO CANCELLATION FEES, and NO TRAVEL FEES for weddings. I operate by your word; if you chose me and we shake hands, then we are good to go. I will be there for your special day no matter what!

Step 3: More Planning

Then we wait! After you book your wedding on my calendar, we shoot your engagement session and get your save-the-dates and invitation photos out as soon as possible!

Then we sit and wait for the week BEFORE your wedding. The week before your wedding, I will have already contacted you or your coordinator to see if any changes have taken place.

If your wedding has a rehearsal, I WILL BE THERE! I love rehearsals, and they very important for me personally to be there the day before to get a lay-of-the-land if I’ve never shot at your venue before. It’s not 100% necessary for me to be there for the rehearsal, but I definitely would love to come!

Then you get married!
Step 4: Payment

Payment in full must be sent to me before any photos/videos are delivered to you! Payment can be sent at any time, but ayment must be sent to me in full the week of your wedding at the latest. You will be very busy the day of your wedding, so the most common day to send payment is the day before/day of the rehearsal! I accept all major credit/debit cards directly on my website, cash, zelle, and Venmo!

Once you pay, and immediately after your wedding I begin the editing process! All wedding photos are delivered two weeks after your wedding to a cloud location! Yes, that’s right, 2 week delivery on all wedding photos!

If you are booking wedding video with me, this is much more time consuming and all wedding videos are delivered within 2 months of your wedding day!
