I pride myself on being the “no-bull$#!@” photographer. I don’t do gimmicks, and I don’t to pretension. I’ve taken a lot of time to price my wedding options as reasonably as I can, given my skill, experience shooting weddings, equipment, and the total amount of hours it will take me to actually photograph, edit, and deliver your wedding photos. Here it goes, as honest and accurate as I can be, starting with the most objective parts (factual/impartial) of hiring me, and then the subjective parts (artistry/feelings/vibes) of hiring me:
Objective: Time Investment
A wedding photographer’s job extends far beyond the wedding day. Here’s a realistic breakdown of the time I personally invest in each couple’s wedding:
Consultation: ~1 hour to meet, plan, and understand your vision.
Rehearsal: ~1 hour minimum (if you’re having one — I always attend).
Travel: Anywhere from 1 to 6 hours round-trip depending on your venue (Arizona weddings vary greatly in distance).
Wedding Day Coverage: 4–10 hours depending on the package you book.
Editing & Post-Production: 30–40 hours for sorting, culling, retouching, color grading, exporting, uploading, and delivering your gallery.
In total, I will typically invest between 37 and 58 hours per wedding from start to finish.
Objective: Professional Equipment & Technical Skill
I use fully professional photography equipment that totals over $17,000 in value — including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
Professional photographers don’t rely on “auto mode.” Every shot involves manual control of light, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. That level of control comes from years of learning and experience.
Editing requires a powerful computer (with enough processing power to edit thousand of photos, and enough storage space for hundreds of gigabytes), calibrated monitors, and professional software subscriptions.
Each image is individually adjusted — not just “filtered.” Professional editing is a detailed process that ensures accurate color, flattering skin tones, and timeless results.
Objective: Business Expenses & Professional Standards
I’m a fully registered and insured Arizona LLC business — not a hobbyist or student. Running a legitimate photography business includes:
A professional website, booking system, and payment processor (Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, and Square Payment Processing).
Subscription fees for secure, easy image delivery (Pixieset galleries).
Liability insurance, equipment insurance, and business registration fees.
Taxes, software subscriptions, and ongoing education to keep my work sharp and current.
All of this ensures a seamless, reliable, and professional experience from inquiry to image delivery.
Subjective: Experience & Preparedness
This is where the “subjective” value comes in — the part you decide for yourself.
Weddings are live events with no do-overs. A good photographer must anticipate moments, handle changing lighting and emotions, and stay calm under pressure.
I’ve photographed many weddings and know how to adapt quickly when things don’t go according to plan.
I’m married myself, so I’ve been on the other side — I understand how much this day means.
My experience allows me to capture your day smoothly, beautifully, and without stress for you.
You can absolutely hire someone newer or less experienced, but experience often makes the difference between “good” and “great” — especially on a once-in-a-lifetime day. Weddings are the one of the most important days of your life; even if you don’t hire me, I strongly recommend that you hire someone who has shot at least one wedding before!
Subjective: Artistic Eye & Style
Photography is both a skill and an art. The technical side can be learned, but the creative vision — how a photographer sees and composes moments — is what makes each artist unique.
Ask yourself:
Do you like the composition and emotion in my portfolio?
Do my colors, tones, and poses feel authentic and meaningful to you?
Art is subjective — there’s no right or wrong answer. What matters most is that you connect with the style and emotion of the images.
In Sum:
Objectively, between preparation, travel, the wedding itself, and editing, I dedicate roughly 40–60 hours to every couple I photograph. The raw hours I invest in your wedding says nothing about equipment, insurance, subscriptions, or the experience I bring to your day. Subjectively, these raw hours, equipment, and miscellaneous other expenses also say nothing about my artistry as a photographer.
I can’t say that I’m best wedding photographer in the world because photography, like any art, is subjective. However, I can look you square in the eyes and say that that I am honest, reliable, and experienced; so much so that I’ve devoted my whole life to it, and sacrificed everything to quit my normal 9-5 and start doing wedding photography full time. Wedding photography is my full-time passion, not just a weekend hobby, and I approach every wedding with the care and professionalism it deserves.

I’m old school; if we look each other in the eye and shake hands; that’s good enough for me. I don’t accept every single wedding that I get offered, and I don’t do high pressure sales tactics, or do anything that locks you in. I’m honest, simple, and straight forward, so I hope we have enough mutual respect to keep our agreements! -

However, the reason is because I offer fast finished photo delivery for all weddings; photos are delivered 2 weeks after your wedding. This is far faster than industry standard for wedding photographers; most photographers deliver wedding photos 4-12 weeks, or longer after the wedding.I do not cut corners, or slack off in order to meet the 2 week photo delivery deadline. Instead, the way I accomplish the 2 week photo delivery deadline, is by focusing solely on your wedding photos during my editing time for the two weeks following your wedding.
After I book any wedding, I block off vast amounts of time for two weeks after the wedding to allow for my days to be oriented around editing. Most photographers/videographers continue to shoot/film other weddings, and edit other weddings immediately after a wedding. This compounded with the sheer insane amount of time it takes to edit wedding photos is the cause of the 4-12 week industry standard.
I do not book any weddings within 3 weeks of each other, and I manage my time for the two weeks following your wedding to exclusively focus on getting your photos done. In other words, I don’t juggle other clients around with you and your wedding. Once you book with me, the day of your wedding, and the two weeks after that are all I focus on.

Head over to my contact page and book a phone call to chat with me about your wedding, or book a date/time for us to grab drinks in person to chat about your wedding!
Once you’ve chosen me, then I will have you fill out a wedding appointment form for my calendar on the date/time of your wedding! (I'll send you a link!)
Then we wait until the week of your wedding, where we’ll touch base multiple times until the day before your wedding!
Payment must be sent by day the of the rehearsal if you’re having one, or the day of the wedding! I accept all major credit/debit cards right through my website on my Prices/Pay Now page! You can send payment in full anytime the week of your wedding!
Done 🤠

Wedding photos and shot lists are tailored specifically to your unique and special wedding! In sum, the answer is: It depends on what is most important to you! I will prioritize shots based on the amount of hours you booked with me, with the things that are most important to you!
In order for me to photograph all the major aspects of your wedding, I will need a full 12 hours. This is NOT a sales ploy, it’s purely a logistical issue. I’m just one person, so if two different parts of your wedding are happening at your wedding at the same time, depending on how many hours you booked, the size of your bridal party, the size of the venue; it’s very possible I might not be able to capture both.
No matter how many hours you book with me, typically the ceremony and a short bride/groom session are covered (This is also typically the only parts covered when you book 2 hour wedding coverage). Then anything before or after the ceremony/posed session is prioritized by what is important to you and how many hours you booked me for! Typically, options might include, but are not limited to:
Bride & Bridesmaids getting ready.
First Looks
Groom & Groomsman getting married
Photos of overall wedding decorations, or the venue itself.
Flatlays (Sentimental items, Wedding Invitation, rings, Bride’s dress, Bride’s jewelry, Groom’s Shoes, ect)
Grand Entrances
Cake Cutting
Bouquet Toss
Garter Tradition
Family/Friend Group Photos
Bride/Groom First dance
Bride & Father Special Dance
Groom & Mother Special Dance
Candid Reception/Party Photos
Ultimately, we just have to talk about it together and figure out what is most important to you, and what is logistically realistic for me to capture given the amount of hours you book me for!
Book a phone call appointment with me, and we will chat about it!

I call this “other photographer bull$#!@.” If you hire me to photograph and edit your wedding photos; the photos are yours completely. You can do whatever you want with them. No agreement/contract for photo usage necessary; you paid me to photograph and edit! Of course I would love photo credits (just dropping my contact or IG when your post) but you do not have to do that at all! The photos are yours! Do what you will with them! 🤠

Some photographers will send couples 1000 photos from their wedding, and allow the couple to pick 100, or 150 of the 1000 photos for editing. Alternatively, other photographers might just select 100 photos, and make a blanket rule that they only provide 100 photos.
I do not have a photo limit. I’ll let you in on a photographer’s secret; no matter who the photographer is, not every photo taken on a camera is a good photo or is worth editing.
My rule is, if the photo is good, it gets edited! What does “good” mean? Some general rules of thumb that make a photo good; it’s visually striking or interesting, it captures a notable or meaningful moment, it captures notable emotion, or something about the photo makes it more noticeable than other photos. I do not place a limit on edited/delivered photos. Depending on how many hours you book with me, you can expect 100-200 edited photos for a few hours, and for a full 12 hours, you can expect 300-600 edited images.
