  • I’m very sorry, at this time I only provide wedding photography, and I do not provide wedding video service of any kind.

    All weddings come with fully edited/retouched photos for color, lighting, contrast, skin softening, teeth whitening, and an overall beautiful look. Additionally, all edited photos are delivered 2 weeks, which is far below the industry standard of 4-12 weeks.

    I’m old school; if we look each other in the eye and shake hands; that’s good enough for me. I don’t accept every single wedding that I get offered, and I don’t do high pressure sales tactics, or do anything that locks you in. I’m honest, simple, and straight forward, so I hope we have enough mutual respect to keep our agreements!

    However, the reason is because I offer fast finished photo delivery for all weddings; photos are delivered 2 weeks after your wedding. This is far faster than industry standard for wedding photographers; most photographers deliver wedding photos 4-12 weeks, or longer after the wedding.

    I do not cut corners, or slack off in order to meet the 2 week photo delivery deadline. Instead, the way I accomplish the 2 week photo delivery deadline, is by focusing solely on your wedding photos during my editing time for the two weeks following your wedding.

    After I book any wedding, I block off vast amounts of time for two weeks after the wedding to allow for my days to be oriented around editing. Most photographers/videographers continue to shoot/film other weddings, and edit other weddings immediately after a wedding. This compounded with the sheer insane amount of time it takes to edit wedding photos is the cause of the 4-12 week industry standard.

    I do not book any weddings within 3 weeks of each other, and I manage my time for the two weeks following your wedding to exclusively focus on getting your photos done. In other words, I don’t juggle other clients around with you and your wedding. Once you book with me, the day of your wedding, and the two weeks after that are all I focus on.

I do not collect any payment or payment information of any kind on my website. Prices are listed in the “Pricing & Booking” page solely for transparency, and at no point in the process will you be asked for payment information.

    If you don’t want to deal with the online booking process; just give me a call directly at 623-233-2348 and we both can complain about the world is too overcomplicated for no reason. (Seriously)

    Unsure/Window Shopping/Consultations:

    • If you don’t have all the details of your wedding yet or if you just want to chat with me, then you just need to book a phone conversation/meeting with me :)

    • Select and exact date and time that you want me to call, and I will call you on the exact date and time of the appointment you make!

    If you’re sure that you want to book me, and you already know what you want/need, and you have most of the details ironed out:

    • Select the category, and exact service you want.

    • Review any logistical add-ons that are relevant to your booking.

    • Select the exact or approximate date and time of your wedding make the appointment!

    • I will call you within 1 business day to get to know you, go over your event details, and make any changes if necessary :)

  • Wedding photos and shot lists are tailored specifically to your unique and special wedding! In sum, the answer is: It depends on what is most important to you! I will prioritize shots based on the amount of hours you booked with me, with the things that are most important to you!

    In order for me to photograph all the major aspects of your wedding, I will need a full 12 hours. This is NOT a sales ploy, it’s purely a logistical issue. I’m just one person, so if two different parts of your wedding are happening at your wedding at the same time, depending on how many hours you booked, the size of your bridal party, the size of the venue; it’s very possible I might not be able to capture both.

    No matter how many hours you book with me, typically the ceremony and a short bride/groom session are covered (This is also typically the only parts covered when you book 2 hour wedding coverage). Then anything before or after the ceremony/posed session is prioritized by what is important to you and how many hours you booked me for! Typically, options might include, but are not limited to:

    • Bride & Bridesmaids getting ready.

    • First Looks

    • Groom & Groomsman getting married

    • Photos of overall wedding decorations, or the venue itself.

    • Flatlays (Sentimental items, Wedding Invitation, rings, Bride’s dress, Bride’s jewelry, Groom’s Shoes, ect)

    • Grand Entrances

    • Cake Cutting

    • Bouquet Toss

    • Garter Tradition

    • Family/Friend Group Photos

    • Bride/Groom First dance

    • Bride & Father Special Dance

    • Groom & Mother Special Dance

    • Candid Reception/Party Photos

    Ultimately, we just have to talk about it together and figure out what is most important to you, and what is logistically realistic for me to capture given the amount of hours you book me for!

    I accept Credit cards directly from my website for a 5% additionally fee, and I can also accept Klarna and After Pay payment plans come at an additional 8% fee.

    Credit cards: I can accept credit cards directly through my website; and it shows up as “DYLANPHOTOPHX.COM” on your credit card statement. I will send you invoice directly after you book.

    Payment Plans: I accept Klarna and After Pay payment plans. This means you have to get approved through Klarna and After Pay outside of me personally, but once you are approved; I am setup to accept those payment plans. Again, there is an additional 8% fee to accept these payment plans. I do not advise that you go into debt for wedding photos, with any photographer, including me!

    Some photographers will send couples 1000 photos from their wedding, and allow the couple to pick 100, or 150 of the 1000 photos for editing. Alternatively, other photographers might just select 100 photos, and make a blanket rule that they only provide 100 photos.

    I do not have a photo limit. I’ll let you in on a photographer’s secret; no matter who the photographer is, not every photo taken on a camera is a good photo or is worth editing.

    My rule is, if the photo is good, it gets edited! What does “good” mean? Some general rules of thumb that make a photo good; it’s visually striking or interesting, it captures a notable or meaningful moment, it captures notable emotion, or something about the photo makes it more noticeable than other photos. I do not place a limit on edited/delivered photos. Depending on how many hours you book with me, you can expect 100-200 edited photos for a few hours, and for a full 12 hours, you can expect 300-600 edited images.

  • I’m very sorry, but I do have a travel fee if you need me to travel outside of Maricopa county for your wedding, event, or project. My travel fee is $200 for anything outside Maricopa county. Any location located within Maricopa county (even the distant corners or lakes) does not require a travel fee.

  • Pay me after the wedding, or the day of the wedding!

    I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, checks, and PayPal! Ask me for the password, and you can have the access to the Pay Now section of my website where you can securely checkout and send payment through squarespace secure payments.

    I accept credit cards directly through my website with an additional 5% processing fee. Klarna & AfterPay payment plans are also accepted directly through my website at an additional 8% fee.

  • All delivered photos come with a color version, and black & white version :)

  • Yes, but pretty much only to ranches, western towns, or outdoorsy places! For example, MT, WY, or UT. Call me for more info. 623-233-2348.

  • Is this even a question?! YES, LET’S GOOO! I Prefer to meet with you and get to know you as people first too. I don’t accept every wedding that comes my way. Pick the bar, and I’ll be there!

  • I use Acuity Scheduling, which is built into my website to act both as my Prices Menu (literally just a way to display my prices) and also as my scheduling software.

    I have the following packages for photo enhancing and retouching:

    BASIC ($5 for the first image, $3 for every image after that):

    • Basic Photo Editing/Enhancement Includes professional retouching for:

      • Skin Softening

      • Teeth Whitening

      • Simple Object/Person/Background Removal

      • Colors

      • Contrast

      • Lighting

      • Sharpness

      • Noise reduction (if your photo was shot in a dark area)

      • Cropping/Resizing

      • Overall Look

    • Basic photo editing makes takes everything present in the image and makes it look nicer, either by making certain colors more vibrant, clearing up acne, whitening teeth, or making a sunset more noticeable. This is also called ‘non-destructive’ editing because no outside images are superimposed onto the your original image, and conversely any objects removed are usually small, or in the background. In sum; if you just want your photo, or people in your photo to look better overall, or to retouch skin/teeth or remove simple people or objects; go for basic!

    ADVANCED ($10 for the first image, $6 for every image after that):

    • Advanced photo manipulation includes everything in basic, plus access to the following:

      • Adding additional people into an image (usually like passed away loved ones, or people who were unable to be present for a group photo)

      • Face/Head Swaps

      • Vintage Photo Restoration

      • Real Estate Photos (If an HDR/Bracketed Image)

      • Complex Object Object Removal

      • Complex Background Removal or Background Change

      • Weather Change (Clouds, sunset, ect)

    • Advanced photo editing/manipulation is sometimes called ‘destructive editing’ because other images are being superimposed onto the original image, complex and noticeable objects/people are being removed or changed, or drastic overall changes are being made to the image. In sum; if you have a vintage photo for restoration, want to add people to an image, make a gag image where someone’s face is swapped with a celebrity, or drastically change your image; go advanced!
