  • I grew up in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and I was blessed to grow up in an upper middle class home. This meant that my mom always had cameras around! I was fascinated with the giant over-the-shoulder camcorders that recorded directly to VHS that my mom carted around the house to make home videos. My mom also had a point-and-shoot canon digital camera (which I still have to this day) and was a photo fanatic before it was cool! Then she would make HUGE binders full of her home photos, for every year, and for every event that happened.

This really inspired me at an early age, and I’ve been in love with videos, photos, and cameras since I was super young. I remember sometime around 2002 I tried to remake my own version of the Sum 41 music video β€œThe Hell Song” and it was total dog-$#@!. πŸ˜‚ but looking back, the link is clear! My mom got me into photography, and videography, and inspired me to take photo & video all 4 years throughout high school (my high school allowed students to repeat certain classes) and ultimately make it my full time job now!

During my wedding, our wedding officiant told the congregation that I am β€œEvery-man’s hype man.” Talk about a truth dart! All that to say, I’m always looking to cheer you on, hype you up, and celebrate with you! So much so, that I left my stable government job so that I could do this full time.

Now I get to meet new people, scream in celebration, yell out fun poses, and be present for meaningful moments; all while making photos that make me feel something…and I get to call it β€œwork.” After learning how to use a camera over 15 years ago, I can honestly say this is my chosen field, and what I will do for the rest of my life. (Also, I should be a lot better than I am given that I’ve done this for 15 years. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)

I LIVE AND BREATHE COUNTRY MUSIC….

I am ready to receive your judgementπŸ˜‚:

A band performing live on stage with five members playing guitars and singing, colorful stage lighting, and musical equipment. The setting appears to be a lively indoor concert or music venue. Phoenix Photographer is playing the blue guitar.
A young man wearing a backwards cap and a dark denim shirt playing an electric guitar while smiling and listening to music, with wooden shelves and a sign in the background. Arizona Photographer playing guitar.
Two men wearing cowboy hats, one standing and one kneeling with a camera on a tripod, in a rocky desert landscape. Arizona Cowboy photographer taking a photo with a camera on a tripod.
A young man wearing a black backward baseball cap and black denim jacket playing an acoustic guitar at an outdoor music event during sunset, with a smiling woman holding a microphone in the background. Arizona Photographer playing guitar.

πŸ”₯ Unpopular Opinions (You’ve Been Warned) 🀠

  • Both. Not a lot of depth, but I love it. And Elsa’s narration at the end?! Come on!! Hard not to love.

  • Pure cosplay. Nothing against Beyonce as a person. Cowboy Carter is not good album from a country perspective, and not deserving of any awards, especially considering Post Malone and Chris Stapleton put out albums the same year.

  • Sacrilegious to most; but chili has beans!!

  • False. Great movie…. but far from the best western of all time. I won’t be as dumb to make an assertion of what the best Western of all time is, but I will say that Unforgiven is not the best of all time. Top 20 for sure.

  • True. It has to be. Look at β€˜em!

  • True. Isn’t that the point? So refreshing! Not a lot flavor; that lets you drink 20 in a day if you’re at the lake, where as 6 of a heavier beer would put me on my ass.

  • Country swing and two step all day everyday! My wife and I try to dance as much as we can.

  • I don’t know how this is even a question. George Strait all day… Where are the bodies, Garth? …Real talk The Thunder Rolls and others are truly amazing, but can’t say no to The King!

  • Evening. Morning is for coffee and contemplation, not faking smiles. (Unless we’re drinking at 6AM. I won’t judge if you don’t.)

  • Outdoors! Have to see the sun, hear the gravel, and smell the grass. What’s more is that the sun does things to photos that no artificial light even comes close to.

  • Candid most of the time, traditional some of the time, spontaneous directed poses (either ideas from the group or from me) after we’ve had a few take priority though. 🍻🍷🍸πŸ₯‚

  • Canon for photos, Sony for videos, Nikon for beginners. Fight me.

  • I’m part hype crew, part ninja. Silent mode is optional.

  • Dances With Wolves. I don’t care if it’s cliche, I love it!!!

  • All time: Randy Travis. He’s a national treasure.

    Modern: Ian Munsick (totally underrated).

  • 1883; beautiful and tragic. My wife and I are still recovering from it, and we finished watching it two years ago. Game of Thrones is a close second, if it weren’t for the horrible last season.

  • She’s not famous, and has no idea who I am, but the photographer I look up to the most, and that I want to strive to be as good as is named J. Lee Photography out of WY.
