my secret to making videos…
Plot twist; the secret is NOT how I edit the video in post-production, NOT what effects I use, or transitions, or colors, or anything the like that. The secret is actually everything that goes on behind the scenes and before I hit “record.” I film with people who I can introduce my wife to, people who I can camp with, hangout with, and be friends with. So, usually, we’re getting a little rowdy and having fun before I hit record; so that when I do hit record, everyone is legitimately having fun, even if we’re a little camera shy. I really do look at videos like we’re all kids making home movies with our parent’s fancy camera; except the cameras are my cameras, they are extremely fancy, and the videos do in-fact get a comprehensive post-production treatment process…
it can be professional and a good time; two things can be true…
